Vidöstern fence post

The Vidöstern fence post is great as a boundary in the garden and because it is made of aluminium, which provides a long service life thanks to the fact that the material is stainless. The high-quality posts have a dimension of 70 x 70 mm, with a wall thickness of 2 mm. This makes it a stable and solid fence post that you can also choose the colour of. The posts are available in three colours: natural anodised or white lacquered (RAL 9010) or matt black (RAL 9005).

The Vidöstern fence post is perfect as a framing of your garden. With heights according to your needs, it keeps the garden open and frames the house while setting clear boundaries for your plot. Distance from floor to first rule 11.6 cm. Stud distance between timber: 2.8cm. Size of holes: 30 X 122 mm.

Fence post

Remember to order the right post types for your purpose (intermediate posts, corner posts, end posts, 45 degree corner post, T-post).

Post cap

Post caps are available in black plastic or aluminum in any color.

Fence foot

Remember to order a fence foot for each post.

Mounting screws

Don’t forget to order mounting screws for mounting wooden joists.

Installation

Buy any impregnated or untreated timber of 45 x 45 mm at your local builders’ merchant.

This unique, linseed oil-treated timber provides a product that lasts longer and has an extended 12-year product guarantee. Linax is also guaranteed against rot for 50 years and has extended maintenance intervals. Linax cladding is FSC-certified and made from Swedish pine.

Make sure that the timber has not swelled too much (it makes installation difficult), then you will also need the following tools:

• Measuring tape
• Screwdriver with bits and drill
• Rubber mallet (to mount the foot on the post)

Mount the joists using the bracket on the back of the posts and always mount the fence so that it is stable – recommendation is max 150 cm between the posts and that you always place the posts before screwing the timber to ensure that your order was correct.
