Sommen fence post

Sommen fence post works well as a boundary in the garden and is made of aluminum, which provides a long life thanks to the material being stainless. The posts have a dimension of 70 x 70 mm, with a thickness of 2 mm. This makes it a stable and solid fence post that you can also choose the color of. The posts are available in three colors: natural anodized or white lacquered (RAL 9010) or matte black (RAL 9005).

Joists
The number of joists varies depending on the height of the post:

• 74.5 cm: 2 joists

The distance between the ground and the first joist is 24.5 cm. The distance between the joists is 21 cm. The holes are 24.5 x 97.5 mm.

Remember to order the right post types for your purpose (intermediate posts, corner posts, end posts).

Post cap
Post caps are available in black plastic or aluminum in any color.

Post foot
Remember to order a post foot for each post.

Installation
Buy any impregnated timber of 22 x 95 mm from your local builders’ merchant.

Make sure that the timber has not swelled too much (this makes assembly difficult), then you will also need the following tools:

• Measuring tape
• Screwdriver with bits and drill
• Rubber mallet (to mount the foot on the post)

Mount the joists using the bracket on the back of the posts and always mount the fence so that it is stable – recommendation is max 150 cm between the posts and that you always place the posts before screwing the timber to ensure that your order was correct.
