General terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions apply when you, as a consumer, place orders in our web shop on recal.se and its subdomains. As these terms and conditions may be updated without prior notice, we recommend that you read them at each order. A binding order and purchase agreement occurs when we have confirmed your order. An order confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address you provided at the time of the order.

Reservation

We reserve the right for any inaccuracies in stock balance that prevent us from fulfilling your order. In the unlikely event that the item you ordered is not available, we will contact you and ensure that a refund is made without delay or that we inform you of the updated delivery time of the item.

Prices

The prices shown on our website and webshop are inclusive of value added tax (VAT) and exclusive of shipping unless otherwise stated. The applicable price is the one quoted for the product in question at the time of the order. Prices may change from time to time without prior notice and we reserve the right for any inaccuracies.

Payment

We use Klarna as our payment solution. Available payment methods are those provided by Klarna. By submitting information at the checkout, you accept the terms and conditions from Klarna. The Klarna terms and conditions can be found at checkout when you make your purchase or here. If you have any questions about your payment, refund or about your invoice please contact Klarna directly, klarna.com. No account information or card details such as card number and CVC code are stored in business systems or the like belonging to Recal AB.

Recal (åminne trädgårdsprodukter ab) offers you five different payment options via Klarna:

Bank payment

All payments are made to our partner Klarna, which meets the requirements for PCI DSS. Klarna has an approved SSL certificate that we use on the pages where you enter your payment details.

Card payment

Recal (åminne trädgårdsprodukter ab) offers secure card payments through Klarna Checkout. Card payments can be made with Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

Swish

In co-operation with Klarna we also offer payments via Swish.

Minors

If you are under 18, you need your parent’s permission to place an order.

Force Majeure

Force majeure shall be deemed to exist when an external circumstance substantially prevents the fulfilment of obligations under the contract. Such circumstances shall constitute grounds for exemption from damages and other penalties. Examples of such exempting circumstances include war, natural disaster, major accident, new or amended legislation, terrorism, fire, blockade, government action or the like that is beyond the control of the company. Recal AB reserves the right to postpone its obligation to fulfil the agreement as long as such circumstances exist.

Scope of delivery

We only sell and deliver to private individuals via our website. You cannot buy as a business customer via our website. If you are a business customer, please contact hej@recal.se for more information.

Returns policy

Private individual
In case of return, size exchange or complaint, email your case to hej@recal.se.
You register with your order number and the e-mail address you used for the purchase. Our returns system then creates a returns case with us. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. If you want to change to another model, make a clean return as above and then a new order in our store of the product you want. Recal will email a shipping note at a cost as follows:

For bulky goods that require special transport, the cost of return shipping is higher. The cost of return freight for these goods depends on the type of product and how it is to be transported. The maximum cost is SEK 1000. You will be informed of the current cost when you contact our customer service.

This is settled on the final amount. Refunds of the value of the goods will be made when we have received and approved the goods sent in. According to the main rule in the Distance and Home Sales Act, the consumer has the right to cancel the purchase of a product or service within 14 days from the date of purchase. The right of withdrawal does not apply to a custom-made product with a clear personal touch. For example, special lengths or special drawings. It is of course possible to complain about a product with an obvious defect even though it is customised. As a consumer, you have the right to complain if the product characteristics deviate from the product description. In the event of an incomplete return, i.e. if the product is not in its original condition, is dirty or arrives after more than 14 days from the date of purchase, we reserve the right not to accept the return and will then charge an additional return fee of 25% of the order value – not including shipping. Address labels must not be attached directly to the product.

Right of complaint

We strive to deliver products of the highest quality. If you, as a consumer, discover a defect in your product or if the delivery is delayed, you have the right to complain under the following conditions:

    You have the right to complain about a product if a fault is detected or if there is a delay in delivery.
  2. Penalties and compensation
    If your complaint is accepted, you may be entitled to various remedies, such as
    Repair of the product
    Exchange for a new product
    Price reduction
    Refund
    Reimbursement of any costs incurred due to the fault
  3. Timeframe for complaints
    You can complain about a fault for up to three years from the date of purchase. If you discover the fault just before the 3-year limit, you have a further 2 months to make a complaint.

Time limit for complaints
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after the defect has been discovered. A complaint made within two months of the discovery of the defect is always considered to be within a reasonable time.
Return shipping and costs
In the event of an approved complaint, we will pay the return shipping.
In the event of an unauthorised complaint, you may be obliged to reimburse us for return shipping and any costs for examining the goods and the fault. See above shipping costs for exact amount of return shipping.

You pay the return shipping yourself when you return your purchase. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Refund

Once you have returned your purchase, we will, through our payment service provider, make your refund within 14 days from the day you notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. However, we will not make the refund until we have received the product back or until you have shown that you have sent it to us.

Our refund includes any shipping costs you paid at the time of purchase. However, this only applies to the cost of standard shipping. Additional shipping costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive shipping option are not refundable.

Refunds will be made to you using the same payment method you chose at the time of purchase, unless we agree otherwise.

You are welcome to contact us if you have any questions or complaints regarding your order. You can easily reach us via the contact details stated at the beginning of these general terms and conditions, see below.

In the event of a dispute, we refer to the General Complaints Board as the dispute resolution body.
